I will be the first to admit I was very surprised at how many of you guys were Bearcat fans. When Clements announced he was going to be converting Bearcats to 32 H&R Magnum and 327 Federal Magnum I spent about 2 or 3 weeks steadily answering all kinds of PMs on the subject. So, I took one of my flat bottom blanks and built a prototype Bearcat sight. While this shows the versatility of the flat bottom blank, making these one at a time requires cutting the blank on right, left, front, back, cutting the radius on the bottom, profiling the topline, serrating and bluing and of course if required drilling for a screw. Obviously these would be far less expensive to have made a hundred at a time so you guys let me know if you would like to have one. Pictured here is a custom Bearcat via the magic of Bobby Tyler at Tyler Gun Works. This sight was left tall for the owner to file in. This is almost certainly Bobby's custom color cased stainless steel!!https://www.tylergunworks.com/

Looks great. Can't wait to try one on my Reeder 22 Magnum Bearcat.
Should be a great upgrade to my most carried gun.

Good stuff going on here. Never ceases to amaze me at how a simple quality front sight changes the way a revolver looks and shoots.

As you guys ask for these, please let me know:
How thick do you want your sight blade as .125" is standard because they will otherwise be finished, blued and serrated.
Do you want your Bearcat sight to screw on or are you going to have your smith SOLDER it on??
Thanks!

I have some 12-15 Bearcat units carefully built from my flat bottom blanks about ready to go. These came out cute as all get out. This is a special run. I have 2 versions, one for gunsmith install on your custom Bearcat, and another to replace your factory blade. Building these requires indicating in and cutting it down from all sides to Bearcat scale. Nonetheless, in the interest of getting them some exposure these will be priced at 45 for the gunsmith blank and 55 for the finished blank to include the screw. Thinning these blades still adds 12, 10, and 8 for the 3rd sight. Postage is not included on these. I have 2 going out to Frank, 1 to Boge, and 2 to Huey who wants his blades a bit thinner. PLEASE tell me NOW if you are going to want one with a thinner blade so I won't have to set up for that again. I had forgotten how much work building these from scratch could be. These are done quite carefully as they should be and keep in mind it is not lost on me that some of the best Sixgun Smiths in the US will be putting the critical eyeball on my work. Here we are indicating in the front surface so it will be square to the front of the barrel. Cutting the barrel radius. Very little to hold onto here. This took some time both to indicate in as it had to be absolutely square and flat and then a too heavy cut could easily upset the alignment. I am building the fixture to hold these little boogers so I can thin the blades and cut the top line consistently. I will update you shortly. Thanks! Get your order in. After this initial bunch, these will be taken as pre orders as a group buy only.

Almost ready to blue another batch of Single 6/7 and Bearcat sights. Now is a good time to let me know if you have been wanting one of these. Best I can tell to a man AND woman all call the sight picture provided cleaner crisper and sharper.

I must concur. The sight picture with 2Dogs front sights is really exceptional. With the ruger ramp front sights, the top of the sight, to me, gets blurry or fuzzy. Not so with these sights. The sight is crisp and clean, and has improved my shooting, particularly the elevation. If you are having trouble keeping your elevation consistent from shot to shot, you owe it to yourself to try one of these
