Just like I thought... Dang Lilja barrel for this beast will cost me more than the rifle... Will still need a trigger and a scope. Think I'll be having one anyway..

life’s too short to shoot an ugly gun Stan 🤪
But, I bet it shoots fine. I’d definitely shoot it before buying a barrel. I have a short CZ that everyone was buying Lilja barrels for. I shot mine, there is no way changing a barre will improve it at the distances I want to use the suppressed 22. Would have been a big waste for me.

I haven't seen one in the wild. Do either of you (or anyone else skulking around here) know of any and how they are performing?

Haven’t seen one in person. Haven’t looked to be honest though. I don’t frequent many “gun stores”

Good reports on the Rimfire Raceguns facebook page but I take those reports with a grain of salt. You know how those shoot fast miss fast guys are. The gun has a very heavy barrel for a 22. Not that expensive. Less than $400..

Lilja barrel for this thing is $410. Specs say the trigger is adjustable but only down to something like 2 pounds. That will be another chunk but I betting they will use the aftermarket 10/22 triggers. It is only money! We can get more!

I may be confusing platforms and forums, but I thought I read over at RFC last night there might be a Timney trigger that fits? Or that may be what I read about the Howa 1500 mini-actions when I was researching those over the weekend...

I used to tell the students in my classes, "If uglier guns are built, Ruger will build them!" Turns out I was smarter than I knew. (LOL)

That will be another chunk but I betting they will use the aftermarket 10/22 triggers. It is only money! We can get more! It actually uses the exact same trigger as a full size, centerfire Ruger Precision Rifle. If you take a close look at it, the safety is in a completely different location than a 10/22, and the trigger blade is one of the 2-piece designs. Zero compatibility with a 10/22, except for the magazines. We were selling those for $399, but Ruger and their distributors just bumped the price, so now we are $429. Still not a bad deal for what you get. There are two versions, one with one 15-round mag, and another that comes with two 10-round mags. I've personally sold 8 so far, not a complaint in the bunch.

Good news on the trigger... I looked at a Timney model for the RPR that a note a the bottom of the page said that the trigger would NOT fit the rimfire gun...

That's interesting, as it was widely reported that triggers WOULD interchange. Wouldn't be the first glaring error I've seen in a Brownells catalog, but they could very well be right. However, it is for darn tooting that there is zero trigger compatibility with a 10/22. I will see what I can uncover......
