I've been waiting a year and a half for this one..... I think I'm finally getting pretty good at knowing what I want after all these guns and years...and remembering to ask for them! The Devil is in the details. Things like having the Clements bisley hammer hand checkered. There was a tap hole in the flat top that was welded up too... Custom crescent head ER hand checkered..... Sides of CC'd hammer relieved for no rub marks.....

You are right the details are significant. That is a beautiful gun.
You left out one piece grips.

Looks like Andy Horvath’s treatment on the Clements hammer. Beautiful piece of metal art!
OOPS! Just enlarged the picture to see Andy’s mark!

Looks even better here. If a gun like that existed in the heyday of the SAA I can't imagine anybody buying a Colt, no matter how well embellished.
Does the front sight have a vertical white line or is it solid black? That while outline rough country sight with a white line front sight is a great combination of visibility and precision. Bowen discussed it in an article on handgun sights in his defunct online magazine.

The majority of my other customs I've had built have the white line on the front... It really does give me the very best sight picture with open sights. I doubt I'll hunt with it or carry it much. It's more of a take it out and enjoy shooting a pretty one gun. I've got others for hunting....

That’s a gorgeous revolver. The little things make the difference. I took note of the checkered ejector. Nice touch.

Greg, That really came out nice! You need to add it to the old Blueprint thread.
