Front left a 3rd Model .44 Special, one of the first batch of blued guns to Wolf & Klar, behind it a 1918 built .44 Special 2nd Model. Front right a 1917 built 1917 in .45 ACP and behind it a 1937 Brazilian in .45 ACP that has been modified with adjustable sights.

Very nice set! I particularly like the Brazilian. I've thought about having something similar done (sights are probably their weakest point). Never could quite bring myself to cutting one up though. How does it shoot?

The front sight is too short so Iam going to have a new one put on. I am actually thinking of taking it to a 4" and doing a barrel band under it like Indiana Jones' gun.

Nice toolbox.
Nice wheelguns.
How long have you been collecting? Those four must have taken some serious time to find.

Got the idea for the toolbox from Larry Potterfield of MidwayUSA and it works really well. It's all bolted together with about 100 pounds of wheel weights in the bottom half! Been collecting about 30 years, lots of swapping and trading. I had built up a nice collection of WW2 battle rifles, then broke my neck and back, so the full power rifles hurt to shoot. Now concentrating on handguns. Last grail gun I hope to get someday is a Triple Lock.

deaconkc, About that triple lock you're looking for. Better get there early, I'm on the hunt for the last year for a triple lock. There may be a lot of us. I'm not too particular about caliber. The 44 special would be just great. or 44 Russian, 38/40, 44/40, 45 Colt, and 455 versions (Eley, Webley, Mk II, etc.) Do you have a favorite caliber you are looking for? Here's a link to SW forum with excellent post #4 by Hondo on the different options. smith-wessonforum.com/s-w-hand-ejectors-1896-1961/520399-questioning-my-45-caliber-triple-lock.htmlI recently acquired a 2nd model .455 changed to .45 colt. It is in ugly condition, but the $550 price was too nice to pass. Are you looking for a pristine model or a beater? caliber? You've got some great looking HE's. Makes me drool. Prescut why 200 lbs in the bottom of that toolbox?

I love 3-4" N frames as well but I had to sell all mine. I was going to get a m25 45acp have it cut down to 3" with a round butt conversion, love blued guns more. Also was looking for a SS springfield armory commemorative but prices were crazy on GB at the time.

oddshooter, I am a shooter, no sage queens here. Like you I would prefer a 44 Special, but I reload so that is not too big an issue. Hopefully we can find one without having to sell a kidney! The weight in the bottom is to keep someone from just picking the whole tool chest assembly up and walking out with it and all the guns in one package!

On the other hand, after seeing what's in there, I think I could lift it with my little pinky finger if it meant getting those pieces Prescut I got a nice link to an unfired triple lock this morning from a fellow member here. Thanks again. I will keep an eye out and try not to bid against you guys. Maybe we can help each other out.

I only have one, a model 544 in .44-40. Love it.
If I was to get another it'd either be a 25 in .45 Colt or 24 in .44 spl.
I'm pretty happy shooting my I frame in .32 S&W Long.

Well, to resurrect this thread I finally found a front barrel sight band! One from a Mauser rifle. So, the '37 will be getting the front sight removed, the barrel shortened and the new band soldered on. I am totally stoked about this project.

I believe a band, done right, on a gun like that is super good looking.
