Ha!
Honestly, every hunt I've been on in Alaska I was always trying to keep things dry!!!

A guy told me to find a drunk Eskimo & tie some wet rawhide around his testicles then stake him out in the sun, when that rawhide starts to dry out he will call in a moose for you every time.....just saying!

It's beautiful country and there is no shortage of brown bears. But hunting brown bear does require an Alaska registered guide. Yes. That is correct. I put out the fact there's lots of bears as safety information not as a hunting opportunity.

Another coincidence. New NRA Hunter mag came a few days ago but just opened last night. First thing I see is an article, Bear Defense from the Professionals. A class given by experts. Remember seeing on TV, an episode of the short lived series on Sarah Palin and her family, where she takes her own Rem 870 to a bear class in Alaska. An incoming charging bear target was rigged. I've had the bug to have similar but want mine more portable. Even able to rig out in the woods. Young friend was to come over yesterday and set it up for a trial was scheduled. He didn't call/show. Grrr.
