This is a heavy .41 caliber with all sorts of potential and versatility. Nose to crimp on this big bad boy is .430" so it should be perfect for the Ruger Blackhawks and Redhawks, I will measure my Smith shortly and get on here and edit that one in. As drawn it shows a Large, Medium, and cup Hollowpoints and of course a Solid Pin option. Gas Check and Plain base options as well as 2 or 4 cavity molds will be available. I can remember shooting a simular cast bullet at a rock at a bit over 600 yards with some friends. It is difficult to explain without having had you there to see, but this style shoots flatter, bucks the wind better, and gets there with a serious WHOP than most of the other sixgun calibers we were shooting that windy day. Edited the opening line as Bob tells me this design has been run before. So, I am corrected.

EDITED FOR ADDITIONAL PIN INFORMATION VIA BOBK:
Large HP = - 17 gr. off bullet weight
Med HP = - 10 gr. off bullet weight
Cup HP = - 6 gr. off bullet weight

All pins come with mold. Large, Medium, Cup and blank pins.

NOTE: I added this buy on the Cast Bullets forum so this one might close abruptly as Miha will combine the 2 buys. So, if you are on the fence you might better sign up. I also edited the description to clean up the pin description a bit. You can ask for a Penta pin but I am not sure if Miha will substitute one or not.

I was just looking for a 41 HP mold since I currently don't have that one filled in my mold inventory. Will this be an aluminum or brass mold?

I am in for a 2 cavity plain based with pins please.

You're killing me.

I've been meaning to ask, when I put my name on the list, do I need to specify that I want the pins for hollowpoints as well as solids, or is that the default (all the pins)? I've seen that some specify that they want all the pins, and some don't, but it actually says on the 32 sledgehammer and Mjolnir descriptions that pins are included. Here, we've got three different hollowpoint configurations as options, but I don't know if I'm to assume they are included, without asking.

Well Greg, you beat Dick to this one!!

Guys, BobK draws the bullet, and I interpret his drawing as having 3 available HP options as well as a mean looking flat point option. For various reasons, perhaps material costs, or the sub contractor did not build the pins to MP molds high standards, we are recently seeing some variation on this theme. As with all things this will iron itself out.

In the meantime, I’ll take as many pin options as I can get.

I trust Miha and I trust BobK. Nuff said.

I have one from several years ago and I think it runs 240ish as a solid and its a Keith design.

Fermin, any idea on a cartridge OAL? My FA is a little OAL challenged.

^^^^^^^^ 41 Mag max case length is 1.290" + 0.430" cr-mplt = 1.720" max O.A.L. if you crimp it in the crimp groove. You can always seat it deeper and taper crimp into the nose to fit your gun.

To answer another question, this is a brass mold. MP Molds does not make aluminum molds in HP, just solids. Brass molds can come in solid, hollow point or hollow base.

Thank you for the breakdown. Fi.e in the Rugers but definitely too long for the FA. I need something more like a 240gr WFN.
