I cleaned out the parts bin and dropped off the pile at John Powers yesterday. Parts.... Old Model 7 1/2” SBH 44 Mag without grip frame Brass Bisley grip frame Clements OM Bisley hammer and Trigger Bowen OM rear sight Turkish walnut grip blanks
Work to be done.... Grip frame fitted CCH frame and hammer Action trigger Re chamber to 45 Colt Install 5 1/2” barrel Fitted Turkish walnut grips.
I am looking forward to this gun

Thanks Robb. I have enough parts left to build an identical gun with a Ruger brass SBH frame. It should make a nice pair.
And if you were wondering how you end up with a grip frameless OM gun.., there have been guns offered for sale with irreplaceable ivory and big horn grips. Guys make great offers to the seller for the grip frame and grips, I buy the leftovers at very reasonable prices.

That will be a really nice build. I been teetering on chopping down a 45 bisley or line boring a 44 and rebarrel. This doesn't help the wallet out. This forum is full of enablers. Hope the wait is short.
