Dustin's guns are hot. Just try and find a used one. If you are lucky and one becomes available. You better jump quick.

How many ways can a single action Ruger be "built"?

Well if you have the money. My $2,000 2004 ZX2 gets my ass to work just as well as the neighbors $52,000 F150.................

I understand, the money some of these guns cost is ridiculous to the guy who is tickled to death with a box stock Blackhawk. The nice thing about America us we all get to choose how we want our home to look, what we want to drive and what we want our guns to look like.

There was a day not too many years ago that I thought I'd never be able to own a handgun, let alone multiples including a custom build and now a FA. I am truly a blessed man.

I don’t have a custom anything at my house...YET, but I will. I do have a high end production pistol in my recently purchased Dan Wesson in .38 Super. Previously all my guns have been standard fare off the shelf stuff. While you may get lucky and get a gun where everything is perfectly executed concerning fit and finish most are done up to pass minimum muster to just get the job done. I call them Mexican guns. Let me explain before jumping on a PC rant. I’ve worked for years with Mexican folks and without a doubt they are some of the hardest working folks I’ve ever seen BUT most will only do exactly what they’re told, no more no less. Same with production guns. Now, when you get the rare opportunity to work side by side with a Mexican that knows his/her trade, ain’t afraid to make decisions on his own and takes the initiative to go above and beyond, well thats something extra special and quality work that has to seen to be believed. When you get that special gun in your hands that has been built above and beyond the expected with a trigger that feels better than a drunk prom queen, satisfaction takes on new meaning! Lastly, when all that extra love is translated to a target with groups tighter than a Mormon hottie on her wedding night..... Sorry, had to take a break. Anyway, I think you get the picture. 8-o
