We all love looking at pics of nice, new clean holsters. Lets see some after they've spent some years doing what they were made to do. Let's see some Weathered Leather! I've only been into this handgun thing for about 15yrs so I've not got too big of a collection of Weathered Leather but I'll start with this one... I've packed it a lot hunting here in Alaska. Von Ringler Wyoming Combination Holster. Great rig for the scoped 45 Colt BisHunter, Versatile ATVing, walking/still hunting, stand hunting, backpack sheep hunting. It's a keeper for sure. I need to get some sheep blood on it though! I'm still working on Weathering the Thad Rybka Crossdraw Tomahawk for the 500L but I did manage to get some moose blood on it last Sept.

Here's my most weathered leather. Homemade, built for something else, cut down and repurposed to carry a 3-3/4" large frame 45 Colt. It's my tractor toolbox, back pocket carry around the property gun. Tim

Love Snyd's pictures! Here's my contribution to the thread. My all day, every day carry rig for a decade or so. Never came off the pants belt, except to change pants. Paul

Here is an old bandito shoulder holster, for scoped handgun, minus the strap cause its on a newer holster....This rig has traveled many miles.... on the reverse I scratched in places I`ve hunted with my knife........

two oldest Leather Holsters I have, both hi-ride, and old Safariland lined thumbreak that works well with Blachawks and FA single actions, as well as L frame smith, GP-100, and few other it has been called into duty for up to 6". But the empty one is special, and about to get filled again, it is a S&W lined holster I got about 25 maybe 30 years ago when I bought my first FA their early 454 in a 4 5/8" barrel Premier with fixed sights, the gun is long gone in favor of others, but that old holster just keeps finding uses. It was the only lined holster I could find at the time in LGS's, and was a perfect fit. I always wondered who made it for S&W, but the only markings on it are a stamped S&W insignia and 04?

Great pictures, guys! Here's the most weathered thing I've got- a DeSantis thumb-break scabbard and double mag pouch. I've had them for about eight years now, and up until the end of last year, I wore them pretty much every day... Doug

The "new rig", just getting broken in. ***** You belt is dry as a cork leg. Both pieces of leather could stand treatment. David Bradshaw

My pop's series 70 that he used in competition back when. He used a Chapman holster like this only his is wrong-handed. This and the Bianchi Hip Hugger are my go-to for the 1911.
