Ya, nice score. I inquired to him about a 6" gun he has posted in another thread. We pm'd, he said he was going to email me pics but never did. I followed up but never did hear back and in the meantime made a deal on another gun a week later. Snyd, That's too bad, not sure what happened. He was great with me, one of the easiest transactions I've ever done. I saw those other guns he had for sale, the prices on them looked pretty good to me I was surprised they hadn't sold. I thought about buying another one from him but buying a new house has taken precedence. At least you came up with something else. Mark Ya, I was perplexed. I know things happen in life but I've see that he was logged in numerous times but no answer back after our first communications. Maybe he sold it. If the pics of the 6" premier had supported what he advertised I'd have bought it. On another note. Does yours have the old style firing pin? If so, are you gonna send it to FA for the upgrade. I'm seriously considering it.

I'm seriously considering it. Mine already has the replaceable firing pin but even if it didn't, I would probably just wait until there was a problem or it broke to send it back to be retrofitted with the new style. It might not ever break I figure and if it does, I'll worry about it at that time.

Mark.... before you go sawing off the barrel, lob some shells down yonder with the palette of cylinders. Beside the virtually guaranteed accuracy you get from a Freedom Arms comes a dose of extra velocity, gratis dimensional firmness. Include, for the hell of it, the .45 ACP cylinder in your out yonder caper. The accuracy quickly fixes trajectory in your mind, an appreciation of which will serve to believe the power of gravity to bend a bullet. The trail of sharpshooting is paved with accuracy. Just as the picture of accuracy is written in sharpshooting. David Bradshaw

I think it will be fun to play with that loooong sight radius, especially on my new range with some steel way out there. I doubt I will end up cutting it at all, I'm sure I'll just buy another one with a shorter barrel, can't have too many right?... I don't know how much shooting I'll do with the other two cylinders, I plan to use the .45 Colt cylinder 99% of the time. I can load it as hot as I will ever need to and as mild as well. I might use the .45 acp just because I have a couple cases of ammo around. I'm not set up for .454 to reload and unless the .45 Colt cylinder doesn't shoot I doubt I will bother with it. The gun has an incredible test target shot with the 454 cylinder so if I can do half that good with the .45 Colt I'll be happy. Mark

That’s right. You’ve got a five-shooter. Study astronomy with slow powder. Milk the cow with medium powder. To DEEP SEAT a heavy bullet with HS-6 and roll crimp over the front band or on the ogive is like screwing a silencer on the muzzle; a quiet workhorse. David Bradshaw
