I came really, really close to going with the co-ax press when I was searching for what I hoped would work for me. I still do a double take every time I see one come up for sale. Two rock chuckers and JR for taking to the range for load work, I have come to my senses so far, lol. But, last time working up loads I forgot my shell holders.......if it was a coax, no problem.
I am not familiar with the Lee turrets to name them off. Buddy bought one that the top spins on, including powder measure. He could not get the powder measure to settle down because of the constant movement just kept settling the powder. Jeff

I would HIGHLY encourage you to buy the Classic Turret. Seems like you're the perfect customer for it. There are two different Lee Turrets. The old one(Turret) is visually distinguished by its tall base, about 3" tall. The new one(Classic Turret) has a flatter base, about one inch tall. Definitely get the newer Classic. Edit: Yes, the naming system is dumb. Plus one on the LEE Classic cast turret. I use one as well and it is a great press. Not as fast as a Progressive but fast enough for most uses. It can also be used like a single stage press with the operating rod removed.
