I love the mesquite woods. I grew up in West Texas and mesquite was all we had. And we had a lot of it. My step-father made knife handles that had beautiful twisted knots and grains. He even used the skeletons of the mesquite to produce some astoundingly beautiful grips.
Nice choice of woods and superb execution on those from Scott.

Thanks guys, that birdseye mesquite is hard to come by, making a few sets soon for Clement's customers Indeed. One of those is mine. It will have the Clements round butt grip modification and I bet the grips will look as nice as the one posted above. I'll post pics as soon as I get it back. It'll be a Bisquero 45 Colt, Clements 4 5/8" heavy barrel, Bowen 6 shot long cylinder (or whatever it's called to fill the window), and the rest of the stuff normally done when you spend too much on a revolver.....
