Yeah, fella's it's a bolt block.
Even though it's a six shooter the bolt bearing block allows precise line boring of the cylinder as yetiman said and ensures the best possible cylinder/bore alignment.
The way these blocked guns lock up has kinda ruined me and in reality if you're doing a full on custom they don't add too much to the cost relatively speaking and the finished product is right.
The hammer is a steel one that has been cc'd. I still don't think I've seen one of these "case colored" stainleess products. I don't know how you get tthe metals to reduce in SS.
The chambers are standard .41 Magnum chambers.... and that is not a cut down .357 max cylinder.
With the machined rib barrel there's not much that isn't custom except the hammer and grip frame...well, the receiver...
