I have one 550 set up for small primers and one set up for large primers. I have loaded a little over 500,000 rounds on them over the years of shooting USPSA. Production rate is easily 600 rounds an hour and up to 1000/hour if set up right and you hustle. The 550 is very versatile and can easily be switched between calibers. Buy with confidence. I did switch to a 1050 for loading competition ammo but still load 44mag, 357, 480, 10mm, 223, and 300 blackout on my 550's.

I've got a Dillon 650 for my hi-volume (600+) loading, RCBS Ammo Master for intermediate (200+) volume and a RCBS single stage for low volume. All volumes approximate.

Just brought Dillon 550 number 4 home to sit in the shop with two Dillon SDBs and a Dillon 1050.. The 550 are set up for 38/357, 9mm, 300 BO/Whisper, and the new one will be a 40/10mm. Yeah I know the changeability of these things is part of the magic but I hate spending reloading time doing a caliber conversion. How do I load the rest? The old RCBS Rockchucker of course!
