My first Harton custom was a Ruger Vaquero. Alan opened the rear site, fit the stag grips, action job, reblue, I think it may have had the warning on it which he removed, then sent to Turnbull for case hardening. In a moment of weakness I sold it to a friend of mine. Well, I stopped to see him yesterday and he is downsizing his collection. The Vaquero was mine if I wanted it back.......OF COURSE I DID!!!!! I re-acquired it for exactly what he bought it from me for. She's coming home back to the stable with a place of honor in the safe! here is a file picture from before I sold it to him.

That right there is pretty much all you need. I'm curious to know what load shoots best to the fixed sights in that revolver? It looks like the front sight is serrated. Did Alan regulate it to a particular load when he enhanced the sights?

I'll just have to play around with it and see what it shoots best!!!

Glad to see you plan to shoot it. Saw the "place of honor in the safe", and was sad.

Nice Bisley! Glad she found her way home. I've seldom sold a gun when I didn't regret it later...Which is why I rarely sell guns!
