Thanks to Skeeter and Elmer, I've long been a big fan and I'm always looking for the next 44 Special. Here is my most recent - I've been looking for a four inch 624 for a LONG time and to be honest, I'm pretty dang happy with it. The service stocks fit my hand like they were born there and it shoots better than I can. B

Being a Skeeter and Elmer fan also, I too had wanted one for years and finally got one off of my other sixgun hero, Dick Sixshot Thompson! Mine currently wears a set of Deacon Deason Skeeter Skelton stocks.

I keep holding out hope that Ruger will bring out a GP 100 in .44 Special. Sure miss Skeeters articles.

I am so jealous. Everything a revolver should be and nothing you don't need.

When I first saw your pic I was thinking, when did I post that? And then thought, And where the hell did I get that nice .44! LOL Dean

That is a nice gun. And I apologize to Ranger499, I thought Doc posted that pic. I'm blaming it on the pain meds. The tears in the dust jacket bother me. I take it off while reading but somehow still tear them up. Dean
