Not very learned on casting & molds. Broken teeth? Very familiar.
Nothing motivates you to visit the dentist like a bit of tooth discomfort.
Good luck.

Have you looked at Tom @ Accurate molds catalog/molds? He makes some dandy's and he will also make you something custom if you have an idea in mind...
I have a mold from him that casts (cat# 43-265M) a 265gr WFNPB and use it in my Mag & Spl loads. Great molds that are a pleasure to cast with.

I've owned and cast with various molds since the mid 60's, using LEE, Lyman, Mihas, and Accurate, aluminum, brass, and steel. I prefer brass molds, 2 or 4 cavity, (most of my newer ones are 4 holers). But all three materials cast good bullets, the aluminum tend to be more fragile, the steel the strongest. If you're looking at .44's, I'd suggest going to Accurate's web site and looking at the designs they have available. They even have an application that lets you design your own and you choose your mold material, brass or aluminum, plus the number of 'holes' you want, The mold fit LEE's 6 cavity handles.

I'll second the recommendation for Tom at Accurate Molds. I have some of his and am well pleased with them. I'm looking at a couple right now for the 480 I just picked up.

Can't go wrong with Miha, Ballisticast or LBT moulds. I think an LBT LFN is pretty hard to beat & that's changing my mind a bit after a lot of years.

No need to look any further than Veral Smith LBT Moulds for that 300gr LFN or WFN. 2 or 3 cavity. Give him a call.

I like the looks of those bullets and his molds but his website..... yikes!!!! Plus paypal.... anti 2nd ammendment paypal??? Everything in life seems to be a compromise these days! You won't regret the quality of the mould you receive. I haven't used other hollow point molds but the cramer style works really well for me. I'm not to far away if you need any help I could offer. Never knew this till a year or so ago but there are two "real" Keith bullets for most calibers. The original Keith that Elmer designed back in the late 1920s and the other an "improved" Keith that he worked on with some others not too long before his death. The MeHic mold uses the original Keith design and the NOE the "improved" version. The major difference is the meplat of the improved version is larger.
I have one of the MeHic molds in .41. One day I plan on buying one of the NOE "improved" versions also... In .41 the original version weighs 220 grains while the improved version weighs 230.

My old Saeco 41 mould drops a 230 gr. Keith slug, its a 4 cavity that I've had for many, many years. I've taken a lot of game with that bullet. Good buddy "Tank" Hoover finally found one a couple years back, they are hard to find. #411
