I remember a harness shop down the road, south'a here, in Mespotamia Ohio. Amish, as you might guess. He had on display a quite fancy saddle, old, reputed to be a Mexican generals from back in the day. Pot belly stove, grumpy cat nearby, etc.. He repaired, resoled a pair of boots for me. Went to have him work on a holster for me last year and found out he'd passed on, shop closed.

Hey Doc,
Will your direct line Northwest Mountain Companion for a medium frame Ruger or Colt fit a Freedom Arms model 97 5.5"? I would think it would but want to make sure.
Thanks,
Mark

Doc do you happen to make a version of that Northwest Mt. Companion (or any other) with a thumb break instead of a strap?

Hi Mark. I can build custom thumbbreak holsters on request.

I can just see a circle of ole(not so old) sixgunners just a'settin' around the woodstove, chawin' the fat. Whatever that means. Ok, who just made that horrible smell ? Somebody open a window !
