Even though this is the 30th year that I've been building Barranti Leather, I had not planned on doing anything special. After all, my leather and holster making goes back to the days of my cap guns and BB guns, so why bother? After some prodding from a friend, I've decided to start with a limited run of two of my most popular shucks: the No.5 for 4-5/8" - 4-3/4" Ruger and Colt medium frame sixguns ($140 shipped), and the Northwest Mountain Companion for the Ruger 3" Shopkeeper($150 shipped). Both feature the large Barranti Bear Track, are numbered and signed on the back, and feature my 30th Anniversary stamp. Production will be limited to 30 of each holster, and other models may follow.

Congrats on the 30th anniversary! I hope to see AT LEAST 30 more. Now,,, since one of the NW Mountain Companions is one of your types I don't have,,, I had to study to see if I had a gun to fit one. Nope,,, so I'll hope you do some of that model for different Rugers!

Congrats, Doc! 30 years.... You might know how to build a holster now 😜. Ribbing aside, I had the pleasure to handle the first piece of Doc's leather work this evening. I can't describe the quality and it's not even some of his premium work! Now I know what all the fuss is about; can't wait to see my rig when it's ready.
