Going to try and sell it one more time. Made by BNR. Never fitted to a gun,so it will have to be fitted. I can send pictures if needed. Thanks for looking. Ron

the Super Blackhawk brass grip frames made by Ruger marked "MR-3DB" are worth $300 all day long but no name brass grip frames generally sell for much less. I've seen them anywhere from $90 to $200 dollars depending on condition.

I've seen them for sale on Ruger Forum also for $275 or better. Ruger never made them for the New model Super, so all that I have ever seen were aftermarket. Does anybody still make them? I was thinking that $200 would be fair. If anybody is interested, PM me. Thanks. Ron

Power customer still makes them and I think stories as well as another company that I can't remember, Factory Ruger one's are $300 all day average some gougers try to get more and they as well have to be fitted to another Ruger anyway. The after market one used are less than $100-200.00 I just missed one on GB w/fancy wood grips I think it sole for $140.00 like brand new with the grips. But I have seen them sold for less than $100 as well depending on condition. Usually whoever fitted it to the frame and how good or bad of a job they did. Usually the ones that let you use colt grips, not ruger sell for $150 used that's what that one on GB was, new they are $200.

The GB Powers brass grip frame was a great buy. Between having grips, already being fit to an old model Ruger frame and the fact that you can have one piece grips made for it OR reshape it into a brass birdshead grip frame it was a deal. In fact, it should be here on Tuesday

I got the brass grip frame out and looked at it and it was made by BNR. I ran a search on it and found one that was priced at $275.I think it was March of this year on this forum. I also found one on RugerForum with a asking price of $275. Both were used and had been mounted on guns I don't know what they finally sold them for, but I didn't see where anybody offered less. They didn't last very long. My frame is new and has never been fitted. Ron

There is an original Ruger one on ebay now with grips $450.00 no bids ending in 3hours, that's to high, IMO I've seen original rugers sell for less.

That would be for a Old Model 3 Screw. Ruger never made them for the New models. I seen that one too. I don't think the grips are factory. Maybe original that someone carved, but by the looks of the screw hardware I don't think so Ron

Maybe original that someone carved, but by the looks of the screw hardware I don't think so Ron Yes I know the originals are the more expensive of the brass frames usually was my point but that price was nuts in todays market, last week an original sold with many guys bidding for about $275 or $300 if I remember correctly. The grips are current ruger aftermarket on that one.
In the aftermarket group; the BNR brass frames due seem to sell for more but not many for sale often. The power customs are cheaper new and used as well as the other I forgot the name, the Qualite were the cheapest usually $100. new but I think there discontinued now, so used they would be real cheap but in IMO they were kinda of a fake brass finish.
The BNR appear to be more like the original Ruger's in design so you should be able to sell them for a good buck and quickly I would imagine. Good luck with it.

Another aftermarket brass grip frame maker was Caravelle along with Qualite, BNR and one or two others.

Caravelle I have never heard of that's a new one for me. The biggest thing for me with BGF's is how the brass looks, some look cheap and dull or fake shinny appearance.

Caravelle also made the brass ejector rod housings you see once in a while.

Caravelle also made the brass ejector rod housings you see once in a while. Dam......never thought of that. Made a lot of them from scratch years ago. Just always carbon that blued well.
