I've 3 Rugers by way of Lipseys that came with Jason's fingerprints on'em. So to speak. Certainally I've other Rugers too ! I've told Jason that if he's ever in this part of the country and in need of room n board, his money is no good here. I don't have pic capability here, but if someone were to pm me a cell number, I could send them a pic tommorrow am of my Lipsey Specials. If they wish to post ?

After winning a flattop 44 special and acquiring shootist headstamp brass brass I ran into a 3.75 vaquero. Cut a dovetail for a front sight, super hammer and rounded the grip frame a little. Eighteen grains of 4227 and a 250 Keith sized to .433 it's a handy powerful little sixgun. I do wish it was lighter but it packs around pretty good. Both of these 44 specials are very accurate, the flattop may be the most accurate single action I've shot. Thank you Jason and ruger

Can't help but admire a good fixed sight sixshooter, although the adjustable variety holds magnetic to my leather. David Bradshaw Not stainless (yet they seem a little glosser than the standard Blackhawk finish)but here's mine. I love to hold it and carry it but sadly it gets little exercise . When heading out to actually shoot something I automatically reach for one with adj. sights. In the hand the flat top feels much bulkier.

I've a first year original Vaquero SS 4-5/8th .45 Colt I rarely use. A better front sight and SBH would get it into rotation up at the Ranch. Dan

Anyone know if the new rear sights on the current NF Colts will fit a 3rd generation NF? All Colt rear sights, both the ACCRO and Eliasons, will interchange. Bob Wright
