forging practice continues as time allows.
two from a worn out 10 inch file.
and this one from an old farriers rasp. the rasp is cold shut city so I probably won't try and finish it but it's good forging and grinding practice.

A man from church, known for his woodworking abilities, made our cabinet for the new boys bathroom. Hardwood pallets he scavenges, then creates art. The legs are solid oak 3 x 3, the balance of the piece the slats from the pallets. My wife had found what she wanted on the web, Chinese particle board and a couple of pieces of real wood for 600 dollars. This was the same price. The bottom of the front is a drawer that was sectioned to clear the drain. Nice to have resources. When the house is done, the bench and table are done, I'm gonna make a thread showcasing the different talents of patient men, not unlike any smith we know of.
