Okay, how does one form brass for the 257 Jackrabbit? Can someone explain the step by step procedure. Is the parent case the 32-20? Inquiring minds want to know.

Shorten a 25-20 to special length. Use standard 25-20 dies. Or, that is my understanding at least.

Well, it's as simple as can be. Parent case is a 25-20. Simply chuck up a 25-20 case in your case trimmer and trim to length. Case length is 1.150". Then chamfer the case mouth a little. Then crack a cold one.

do you have a good supply of 25-20 cases??? they seem as rare as hens teeth right now... ( had the same issues with 22 Hornet, when I 1st built my 257 Special... but those cases are pretty available right now )

I do since the 25-20 is still my all time favorite cartridge. I think this is going to be a terrific round for Single Six.
Have about 2500 cases on hand. Let the fun begin.

Since 25-20 brass is hard to come by and 32-20 brass is available from starline, could one form the 32-20 brass to 25-20 brass then form that 25-20 brass to 257 JR?

Sure. Would probably be easier to shorten it first, then neck down.

I've been happily making brass from a pile of winchester 25-20's I picked up at a show a year ago for this project. My dies are Lyman but I can't see why any brand wouldn't work. Of course, I say this with no gun in hand so this opinion is worth what it cost.

Mine are RCBS but I agree, any brand should work.
