Very great news indeed. Now if they can only produce enough for all who want these guns.

I think I see some standard triggers being installed in these kickers. Those curved ones can bite.

Is it me, or is that a really poor grip fit on the .480 pictured? I hope Ruger won't be sending production models off with those sort of gaps.

I usually order the Hogue Simulated Ivory W/ Ruger Logo off the shopruger.com site. They fit all my Bisleys much better than the grips they come with. I suppose all the Hogue's are made to the same standards, so maybe they will all fit? Maybe someone who has tried them will weigh in.

I hope Ruger won't be sending production models off with those sort of gaps. guys, if you want custom fit stocks, order some and have it fit for the new stocks. The stocks for Rugers are mass produced, not individually fit to each gun at the end. Some fit better than others. Considering that you can get a 5 shot 480 or 454 or any of their sixguns for that matter at the prices they can sell them at, its amazing that the fit is as good as it is. The metal to metal fit of a stock Ruger is pretty dang good in my opinion. Considering that custom stocks are $300-600 and up depending on the maker and the material, please don't expect to see those on a 500-800 dollar sixgun. The mechanics are what you are paying for, not a $30 set of stocks. That comment always shocks me when I see it.....The fact that Ruger can sell the products that they do at the price point that they are offered simply is amazing to me. You are getting a LOT of gun for the money with a Ruger. Their quality is great and the customer service if ever needed is second to none. GREAT company to do business with. But, as I mentioned, if the $30 part fit is what bothers you, its easy to fix, send a few hundred dollars to a custom builder with your gun and they will fit like a second skin but you will pay for that fit, I can assure you

I like the new laminates so much better than previous offerings. However, I'm thinking mine might go straight to Jack for a new front sight, grips and tuning. I need a 12 step program for my micarta addiction.

I don't know why the comment shocks you. I'm not demanding custom fit grips, and I'm not saying anything about Ruger's value, only that those grips look poorly fit. The metal fit looks great on the revolvers, but the overall look of the product could be improved with better fitting grips. It's not a lot to ask for when CNC machining produces pretty uniform parts. If the grip frames and revolver frames are made consistently, there is no reason for gaps like that.

Are the cylinders over sized or standard diameter?
Whitworth had that Blackhawk that Jack did that he put a 5 shot in but didn't have to open up the window.
I'm guessing this is the case?
