Amen Jeffer, that's the bullet. Read about the heavy cast, etc., but haven't found anything the XTPs won't do.
The 300 grn works great too.

I just worked out a trade deal with those guys on my soon to be .44 special 97. Some of the easiest guys to work with on the phone I have ever dealt with.

The 44 Special is second only to the 45 Colt in the FA-97. Great snag on a great gun.

I agree with the Axeman. Unless this is the last revolver you will ever buy, just pick one and buy the other next. You will find that most of us spend others money freely. We are enablers of the highest order.
Colts can be worn out but can be refurbished. In my opinion, it would take a long, long time to wear out a FA.
