Very cool... got me convinced its time to redo the ole Charter belly gun! I need to get a tritium front sight installed and get it refinished... Hate to admit it, but the wife goes for the autoloaders. Those have the place of honor (next to the flashlight and cel phone) in our boudoir.

Where did you find the hollowed out book? I need a few of those for stashing in various parts of the house.

Indeed, that's why I need a few, keep the kid out of the guns, and still have something accessible.

Having read Thomas Hardy years ago for the literature degree, I must say that's the best copy of Tess I've ever seen.

I am sure glad to see that I am not the only one with my weapons scattered within easy reach of all that know where they are. We have kept one in a bible for 20 years for when our last moments come and we need some comfort from the book.

A couple of Rugers handy for the Mrs. and the boys.... for use in my absence. Security-Six, round-butted, barrel shortened and tritium BigDot front sight in 357 magnum Speed-Six ASP conversion to 5 shot unfluted cylinder in 44 special. LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE ELSE LIKES GREAT BOOKS!

I sure wish you hadn't posted a picture of that ASP, I had got those out of my mind many years ago. Now it's gonna cost me money.
Oh well, it's just green paper, right?
