... 32-20/327 convertables in stainless on the Bisley mid frame flattops with 7.5" barrels with pinned front sights. The possiblities boggle the mind.... Especially if we could get Ruger to get the cylinder lengths where they would support the heavier bullets and cylinder throats right... Sounds great. Insta-classic.

I'd be interested in the 32-20/327 Bisley. I'd prefer a shorter barrel but would buy the 7.5 if that was the only option.

I would be interested in the .32-20-.327.
I really wish Ruger would start pinning in their blued sights too. I think Jason and I had that conversation a while back.

I would be interested in the .32-20-.327. I really wish Ruger would start pinning in their blued sights too. I think Jason and I had that conversation a while back. Blue or stainless would be great. Ruger has a tendency to build blued sixguns with a front sight that is too short. A case in point would be the Shootist's and mistake 44 special 7 1/2" guns. If they would pin in the blued front sight it would not be an issue. The recent blue flattops seem to have plenty of front sight. Still, I wish the blades were easy to change to one I could see better. I like blued sixguns, in fact I LOVES me a blue sixgun. Still, if you want to do a grip frame swap or change the front sight or some such, it is easier to do on a stainless sixgun. Lets just get the sixguns we want. We can always swap frames and such. The more important issue to my mind, would be getting the cylinder length what we want it to be and correct throats. Peas are great. But lets focus on getting the steak right!

I will commit to buying either one when it happens but I currently own four 38-40 rifles and no handguns so you should be able to guess my preference. I like blue over stainless any day and would tend toward shorter to mid barrel lengths.

I have both Buckeyes, matching numbers. A USFA 32-20/327 mag convertible and a Harton conversion of an OMBH FT to 38-40 with a 40 S&W cylinder. Plus a couple of Bowen 38-40 conversions. But, could also use something new, not that fond of stainless, but a Bisley 5.5" could be a keeper.

I know Jason has gone round and round with Ruger trying to get them to do pinned front sights on blued guns, he probably would get a better response talking to Obama about the issue. But if we keep hammering and requesting prehaps we can get it done...

We bought the Blackhawk, the GP100 and a Single Seven and have an SP101 on order so a Bisley will be on our want list. Like some I prefer blue but if it only comes in stainless I'll buy one.

7.5" Bisley flattop 327/32-20, blue finish, pinned sight...but I wouldn't be too disappointed if it was stainless!

Peas are great. But lets focus on getting the steak right! I'd like to rub some "hunter model" into that steak.

I'd buy a 32-20/327 convertible in a heartbeat. Shorter bbl would be my preference but a longer version would definitely see some use.
