I got one of my EPS holsters in the deal with my .44 mag anny. The other I bought from the EPS stand at a DFW gun show. I don't know if they are officially affliated or not, but they usually have a couple hundred pieces of EPS products. Next show round these parts is the last weekend in August. If you don't have something figured out by then, drop me a PM and I can see if this outfit has it on hand (if they show up to this show).

I asked if they could order something for me and get it faster and the reply was in the negative. She also said they rarely, if ever, go to the Fort Worth shows. They do usually have a good selection though.

I just pulled out my EPS Keith style holster and was impressed by the workmanship. I had sort of put it away for a while and used a Mernickle instead, and most recently, I've really been enjoying a gorgeous carved holster from Simply Rugged.
Somewhere along the line I had come to the false conclusion that the EPS was nothing special, which is not true. The stitching is clean, edges are outstanding and even, stamping is well done. The lining on mine is installed perfectly and is a classy touch.
They do really nice work and I'm sure you'll be happy with your holster. -- Brian

My EPS holsters are nothing special but I like them. They took less time than quoted.

I'm with Hobie - I like my EPS holsters, but it isn't like they are the be-all, end-all. There are plenty of good holster makers out there, some better than EPS and some a better value than EPS for a using holster. Get what trips your trigger.

I had them build me a couple of holsters and belts for my 500 Linebaugh with it's larger cylinder and taller front sight. It took them alot longer than what they told me it would to get them, but I am happy with there work.

Their customer service is also very good. I had a floral carved Tortilla for a 1911 Commander that the lining tore out of the first time I slid a pistol into it. I just made do with it for over a year with an Officers-length Kimber. Finally got around to sending it back and they sent me a brand new replacement in just a few weeks' time. No charge.

Mine was 3 weeks but well worth every penny! A holster to be proud of and rides nice on the hip.

Just as a general info update. I ordered a "Double agent" holster on Sept 28th. It arrived today Oct. 21. I'm shocked it cam so fast. Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed with it.

There a number of small things I don't like about the design, little changes I would make if I were designing something something similar... but it is quite serviceable as is for my intended use. It's supposed to be duel use, strong side and cross draw. Only I can barely get my belt through and lined up for strong side (all I wanted). I'd have to make my belt do a quick sharp dog leg to use the lower cross draw hole. It's for a FA97, maybe they don't have a blocking gun for that model or configuration. The front sight is going to cut through the lining rather quickly. My main (and justifiable) complaint is that the holster has a retention screw through it. The only problem is that with the retention screw in, you can't actually get the gun in the holster. If I had no sights, or no ejector rod it might fit. (actually they shipped it with the screw unscrewed. So when I put the gun in the first time, the rubber sleeve fell out the bottom and the Chicago screw fell out the back) With it removed it fits fine. Nice and snug... only I have a large hole in the middle of my new holster. The retention screw is standard for the model, but If I'd known it would be an issue with it I obviously would have asked them to leave it out. I waited too long to order it, and hunting season is here. SOoooo.... I'm gonna keep the funky holster and make do. I may add a hammer thong, I'd hate to leave my shooter somewhere in the snow, but I was planning on doing that anyway. Live and learn.
