I bought 500 new 25 acp cases for a small case wildcat and reamers. Was going to do a Single Six conversion to centerfire and a 22/32 S&W long or 22 squirrel. Your 25 acp has me thinking about necking those 25 acp cases to 22. I have way too many 22 bullets and 22 bullet making dies etc to do a 25. I have an extra cylinder and could make a 22 pilot for the reamer to do the cylinder. It could be what I wanted for a small center fire case for the Single Six.

I had hoped to get out this weekend, but on Sunday evening, it seems to be getting dark earlier... I have the 8 loads loaded with the AA#5 to try... my crop land renter stopped by to check the beans on the side of my shooting range, & he'll likely be harvesting those next week... hoping he's done before the weekend... I really should have made some time to get out there this last weekend

AWP... that should be fine, so long as you don't claim it's yours & for sale My Mondays are pretty busy, but I thought I better run out to the range, before the farmers start getting in the fields... I must have gotten a bad mount base or rings as the new scope got closer to point of aim, ( it was 1/2" clicks, the Pentax was 1/4" clicks ) but was still shooting to the right... so back to the drawing board again on that... after a cylinder full of Factory Federal loads trying to sight in the scope, I did put 3 rounds through the gun of my AA #5 loads... the cases showed no signs of high pressure, & I think they were still subsonic, as shooting without muffs was still well within the comfortable range... will be back talking with my buddy to figure out the next move on scope mounting... which really sucks, as I'll probably put the iron sights back on, after load development is done

I'll probably switch the rings around & see if that makes a difference... if that doesn't work... ...anyone tried EGW's Weaver revolver bases for adjustable sight Ruger revolvers I think I'm going to order one of those bases, then I can put windage adjustable rings on that base & get my scope back to centered, & to point of aim... I actually like the Pentax scope I 1st put on the gun better, so that can go back on, when I get the new base... & I'll move this Simmons 2-6 to one of my Contender barrels ( seems I always have a barrel in need of a scope in the Contender collection )
