Hey, Craig. Can you do one of those Indy flap holsters for a New Service? Your site doesn't list it as an option. What a great looking holster.

I wish I did but I don't have a New Service to fit to. How close is a Redhawk?

I wish I did but I don't have a New Service to fit to. How close is a Redhawk? I don't know. Probably not close enough. I have a Redhawk so mayhaps I need to make some comparison measurements. Wish you were on the eastern side of TN. I could visit and bring the gun it needs to fit.

That would make it easier! About ten years ago I came real close to buying a 1917 that someone did a real nice job of cutting it to 4", adding adjustable sights and a reblue and still kick myself for not picking it up.
One made for an adjustable sight N-frame would probably have enough room for a fixed sight New Service. I just hate to make one that I'm not 100% certain it will fit.

Thanks gents! For whatever its worth Department: I've worn that holster nearly everyday since it came. It's worth a lot, Bob! How's it wearing? If it looks any different from the day it came,I can't tell it. The belt loop has developed a curve to fit my curve is only difference I can see. And, to be perfectly honest with you, I like the smooth folded side without any stamping. Just a great holster, about what old Tom himself had in mind, I believe. For those of y'all who have no idea what we're talking abpout, here 'tis: Bob Wright

Incidentally Craig, I had you make my holster without any retention device. This holster still has enough "grip" to it to securely hold my Ruger without any straps or thongs. If I were in rough country or more active than I care to be, a retaining strap certainly. I made a holster myself many, many years ago with a retaining strap. Made the strap l;ong enough so I could unsnap it and tuck it behind my gun belt if I wanted quick access. This is that holster: Bob Wright

Thanks again guys!
Bob, that holster looks great! I don't know what they offer now but I have an older FA holster with a retention strap that's attached to the body of the holster with a swivel (or maybe it's a snap). So that when the strap is not in use, it can be snapped down and rotated down out of the way. I need to post a pic and figure out how to replicate it. Now to just find it......

I would not trade Craig's holster for 10 FA holsters (and it has nothing to do with the swivel). It's not that the FA holster is bad, it's just that Craig's holster is especially nice. Just IMHO.
