Wow! I too have that same book/magazine. I have re-read a bunch of stuff from it. And, I admired Skeeter myself. I got to meet him just once & felt he was a true gentleman, yet, a hard man when needed. Doc, your leather work never ceases to amaze me!

I'm getting quite a grin outta this thread. Am just finishing reading Good Friends/Guns/Whiskey for about the 3rd time. I find Skeeter more to my taste and sentiments than the few others I'd call his peers. steve
