Damn Boxhead, you really need to stop posting pic's of that beauty..........I've got a perfectly good 6" model 29. Every time I see your gun I want to have an inch chopped off the barrel!!! Bunch of enablers. Do it! I had an 8&3/8ths" 29-2 that I had SDM Fabricating cut down to 5"s and slick up,and it is the finest all around .44 I own. 5" N Frames are simply perfection.

I have an M29-2 that Alan Harton cut to 5" and installed Stroh's front sight. It rides in original "cokes" and is perfect. I have an early 6" P&R'd M629 that is yearning to become a 5" piece.

I'd love to be expecting some Keith Brown grips for it, but here is an Andy Horvath version of your gun done on a 5-screw Highway Patrolman. He replaced the barrel with one off of a Model 24.

Yeah that thing is beautiful isn't it? I only own two N frames a mountain gun that couldn't be cut to 5" and a 6 1/2 " factory engraved gun that I'd be lopping off scratching. Still tempting. Dean

Mr. Stroh's work will always be a great benchmark in the metalsmith trades. Great 44!

Very nice. A tease of my Stroh 45 Colt conversion of a M29-2 with Kieth's grips. WOW, just WOW! That is just Beautiful!!! Love the grips, bluing and bbl length. That F-sight is purrrrfect too. I like it ALL! what a Dandy. I wish my 29-2 was it's twin sister... BigBore44

Does Keith use the factory stock dimensions or does he make a slender version of the target stocks. The stock grips are huge-too large for my smaller hands.
