Boge, when can you say more. Not until Ruger gives us the word. Sorry, but we won't violate their confidence - I am excited about some of the stuff they have planned, though!

Whit: I KNOW I have a couple myself. And we build a pile of gunleather for them. Just my opinion. The SP101 is great, but a bit heavy...in alloy it would be perfect...

How about like Remington, try sell an action, maybe cyl. frame/bisley gripframe and parts kit. That would be super super cool.

Thanks for setting us on the edge of our chairs Boge
Save us from more black rifles. Can't hardly open a gun mag. without 4 articles on black rifles.
I too didn't find much interesting in one catigory of the poll.

As has become their standard practice, I would imagine Ruger will come out with something new at the NRA Annual Meetings in Houston, TX, May 3-5.
That about right, Boge?

Can we guess Boge and you simply remain silent if we get the answer right, post two question marks (??) if we are close or getting warmer, three question marks ( ) if we are completely wrong or getting colder. I'll start, a 3.5" Bisley sherriff in 45 Colt and unfluted cylinder.

Many folks got the survey from Ruger. They are always wanting to get feedback about potential new products that will sell. What many folks fail to see is that Ruger is in the business to make MONEY. Yes,, I know a lot of us would like them to make a specific type of XYZ gun,, but Ruger has to look at being able to sell a QUANTITY of them to the general public. Unfortunately for those of us who love the SA revolvers, especially in odd configurations,,, we are a minority compared to the general market. Not enough sales to warrant some of the great ideas we would like to see. Think like this; you have to be able to get "Joe the average gun buyer" wanting it. And, then there is the ammo issue. If Joe the average gun buyer can't go into his favorite shopping place & buy ammo, he's not going to accept a new gun. But,,, rest assured,, they do listen to many of us. They do offer Distributor Specials,,, when they can make something easily w/o major tooling changes, or a huge investment in development.
And I understand Boge's position. The folks who are "in the know" would NOT be "in the know" very long if they violated the confidentiality required by ANY gun maker when it comes to new products.
