It is something that comes from your heart..... Like V8 CJ5s, Flattop 3 screws, Colt Single Actions, V twins.... Sure I like Hummers, NM Rugers, FAs, and Japanese crotch rockets and their high tech quality and performance is a part of who I am.... But V8 CJ5s, Flattop 3 screws, Colts, and V twins are in my heart... The high tech stuff evolves with technology.. The V8 CJ5s, Flattop 3 screws, Colts, and V twins are eternal.... ;D

It was my first successful photo post! Hope I can remember what I did.
It's a 45 and very accurate. I had a 44 special Andy Horvath used to build a #5 we got a new cylinder for the 44 so it could be lined bored and properly throated then re chambered the 44 Colt cylinder for my 45 so it would benefit from correct throat. The grips are one piece aged ivory and of course it is well tuned.

The quote is loosely from P.O. Ackley, and was an attempt at old guy humor. Figured the 55 and older crew would get it. I don't think you have to be 55 to know who P.O. Ackley was or to have heard that quote.

The only real plus for the FA over a properly set up Colt is that it is stronger.
But for a purist it just doesn't have the looks and class of a Colt.
