I know that I bought a Handi Rifle in 500 for "kicks" since every one my dealer sold came back and was traded in on a 45-70. Recoil was the complaint (and $50 a box ammo). It didn't seem all that bad to me, but I went thru 3 scopes in 100 rounds and replaced the base. Seems that with 2 rings on the factory base the rings cross bolt would cut thru the boss on the base. Stepping up to 4 rings cleared that up. Never got around to putting composite stocks on it to lighten it up some IMHO, a Marlin in 35 Rem would do everything that this will and be cheaper to boot.

I have shot one a little. They are VERY nice and for what you get well worth the money. I hope to get one someday.

When you consider that you get an entire stainless steel lever action rifle or carbine chambered in 500 Smith & Wesson for the cost of converting a Ruger single action revolver(that you have to provide) to that caliber or similar ones, it almost seems like a bargain.

It sure looks very well made. Wonder if they'll tackle the .460 S&W too?

We are finally shipping rifles. Sorry about all the delays. It took more time then we thought, but wanted to get it correct. We are slowly filling backorders and hope to be caught up by the end of the year.
